LODGING POLICIES

Reservation and Cancellation Policy

A valid credit card is required to process your reservation. Deposit and Cancellation Policy Credit cards will be debited for a one night deposit plus tax. Two nights minimum stay required for weekends, Friday – Sunday. Monday through Thursday, one night stays available.

One child (8 and under) is included FREE with each adult booked into a single room. Entrance park fees are NOT included in your reservation. Please pay upon entry.

Maximum number of people in the room:

  • King: Three (3) persons

  • Queen & Double: Five (5) persons

  • Connecting Rooms & Home Available for groups

Additional children will be charged the standard children’s rate. Tax and Gratuity not included in rates. All non-smoking rooms.

If you cancel under seven (7) days prior to arrival, the deposit is non-refundable. Early departures will be billed for the full reservation. Fees apply for early check-in and late check-out when available and not guaranteed.

Smoke-Free

All rooms and meeting halls as well as outside areas at Katherine Landing are non-smoking.  Smoking is permitted only in private vehicles and at designated smoking areas.  A $250 cleaning fee may be charged to any guests found smoking in their lodging.  Please do not dispose of cigarette butts in interior garbage cans.

Pet Policy

At Katherine Landing, we appreciate that pets, including comfort /therapy pets, are members of the family and best friends. Devoted pet owners are welcomed to bring their cats and dogs (under 75 pounds each) with them while staying at Katherine Landing at Lake Mohave Marina.

Pets are allowed in one of our pet-friendly rooms, so please make sure to reserve these in advance of your stay. Only two pets per guest room will be allowed and they are to be house-trained. Pets must be kept on a leash in public areas and you must clean up after your pet. Pets may not be left unattended in the room. A $150 refundable deposit is required, plus a $15 per pet, per night service fee for guests with pets. This fee will offset the additional cleaning expense incurred.

Service Animal Policy

Trained service animals are welcome throughout Katherine Landing at Lake Mohave Marina. At Katherine Landing, a service animal is defined as any dog or miniature horse trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability.  Guests who use service animals must retain control of their animals at all times and should keep them on a leash or harness while visiting.

BOAT RENTAL POLICY, RULES & REGULATIONS

BOAT HANDLING

  1. Engine starting: Choke position, manual choke, primer bulb

  2. Controls: Throttle: forward & reverse, shift & trim

  3. Buoy markings, no wake, 5 MPH

  4. Type of gas: Regular gas, plus oil. Check separate V.R.O. tank (if applicable)

  5. Towing of boat & tie-up instructions. (If permitted by Marina.)

  6. Return time and return location

  7. V.R.O. oil indicator: What to do if it sounds. One short beep every 40 seconds = low oil. Horn sounds with short rapid tones = no oil. 8. Overheating indicator: What to do if it sounds. Horn sounds continuously, engine will not exceed 2500 r.p.m.

BOAT SAFETY REGULATIONS

  1. 5 MPH in Harbor Area

  2. Observe state and federal boating laws and safety regulations. Coast Guard regulations place the responsibility for the safety of the passengers and boat upon the operator of the boat.

  3. Wear personal flotation devices at all times when boat is in operation. Explain how to put it on.

  4. Customer is hereby notified that the throwable device, in addition to being a cushion, is a piece of lifesaving equipment that will support a person in the water.

  5. No boating between sunset and sunrise.

  6. Reef and shallow water areas. Observe restricted boating areas.

  7. Safety rules for water skiing. No skiing north of mile marker 44 on Lake Mohave.

  8. Children under age 13 must wear a life jacket when on a vessel of 26 feet or less while under way.

  9. It is prohibited to operate any watercraft while under the influence of drugs or alcohol or in a reckless or negligent manner, or in a manner that endangers or is likely to endanger persons or property.

  10. Weather Reviewed – Customer acknowledges the review of upcoming weather conditions.

  11. Exceeding the maximum passenger capacity may result in forfeiture of security deposit, impoundment of vessel and/or citations from law enforcement agencies.

  12. Damage to vessel(s) and/or equipment, violation(s) of the rental contract, and/or rules/regulations of the waterways may result in forfeiture of renter’s security deposit, impoundment of vessel and/or citations from law enforcement agencies. Renter’s liability is not limited to the amount of security deposit.

  13. All accidents, wherein damages to the Small Boat exceed $200.00 or the Small Boat involves another vessel or there is damage to other property, regardless of amount, must be reported to local law enforcement authorities for immediate investigation.

  14. Prohibited: Barbecuing on-board vessels, containers of fuel on-board vessels, transportation of personal watercraft and/or heavy equipment on-board vessels.

BOAT RENTAL AND SLIP RESERVATION/ CANCELLATION POLICY

Reservation Policy

A valid credit card is required to process your reservation. Deposit and Cancellation Policy credit cards will be debited for the entire balance of your slip reservation. Entrance park fees are NOT included in your reservation. Please pay upon entry.

Cancellation Policy

Guests are required to make contact and cancel their reservation at least 72 hours prior to their arrival to get a full refund. Failure to do so will result in a partial refund.

RETAIL STORE RETURN POLICY

Standard Return Policy

There are a few important things to keep in mind when returning a product you purchase from Katherine Landing Retail Store.

  • You have 14 calendar days to return, exchange or refund an item you purchased in store. Items must be unworn, unwashed and unused.

  • Please ensure that the item you are returning is repackaged with all the tags and manuals.

  • There are some items, however that are ineligible for return, including, but not limited to:

    • Inflatable water toys and inflatable beds

    • Undergarments

    • Food and drink items

    • Oil

    • Fishing bait and tackle

Once we receive your item, a refund or exchange is initiated immediately.
